What it is
A client posts a job — what it is, photos, budget, the area. Local contractors respond with a bid: their price, their timeline, their note. The client picks one, and the job moves through clear states — requested, in progress, completed — with both sides confirming when it’s done. You can also start a job straight from a conversation. The exact address is shared with the contractor only once the job is theirs; until then, only the area is public.
Why it matters
Clients describe the work once and let local trades come to them, always knowing where things stand. Contractors see real local jobs and choose what to bid on — no buying leads, no race to the bottom.
How to use it
For clients
- 1Go to Post a Job and describe the work — title, details, budget, photos, and the area.
- 2Local contractors send bids with their price, timeline, and a note.
- 3Compare bids and accept the one you want.
- 4Track the job through requested → in progress → completed, and confirm when the work is done.
For contractors
- 1Browse local jobs and open one that fits your trade and schedule.
- 2Send a bid: your price, your timeline, your note.
- 3If the client accepts, the job’s exact address is shared with you and the work begins.
- 4Mark the job complete when it’s done — the client confirms on their side.

- When does the contractor see my address?
- Only after you accept their bid. Before that, just the general area is visible.
- What happens when a job is marked complete?
- Both the client and the contractor confirm completion. The job’s state is shown to both sides in the conversation.
