Trust is the only product we sell. Every feature on TradeSpace either earns it or erodes it.

When a contractor shows up as Verified, here’s what that actually means: a real ID document was submitted and reviewed, a current insurance certificate is on file, and any trade licenses claimed have been checked against the issuing body.

What it doesn’t mean

It doesn’t mean we vouch for the work. That’s what reviews and portfolios are for.

It doesn’t mean we vouch for the price. That’s between you and them.

It means the person you’re talking to is who they say they are, and they’ve cleared a basic professional bar.

Why we don’t use the word "background check"

Because we don’t do background checks. The legal and operational complexity is enormous, and the false confidence it creates is dangerous. We tell the truth about what we verify and what we don’t.
